Super Hero Training Camp (Geared toward children ages 5 - 11)

Week 1: Ancient Heroes--It's all Greek to Me!
Heroes date back to the most ancient of times. Our summer will kick off with some of the most famous myths about Greek Gods and Goddesses. No day in Greece is complete without a laurel wreath on your head and shield for protection. Our fun will end with everyone competing in Herculean Olympics. Go for the gold!

Week 2: UNderdog! UNderpants! UNlikely Heroes!
This week kids will be introduced to some of our silliest superheroes. What makes a superhero super? Everyone will design their own superhero mask, test their super flying skills with balloon races and participate in the fast and furious Captain Underpants relay!

Week 3: Classic Heroes—Everyone can be a Hero!
Everyone has the potential to be a superhero. We will wrap up our Superhero Training Camp with an obstacle course to test your skills. Kids can wear their favorite superhero costume. Superman might have to steer clear, because we will be making our own kryptonite.

Superhero Science with Mobius - Fun for the whole family!
Join Spokane’s famous Mobius Science Center staff here in Stevens County as we explore the mysteries of the unseen forces that influence the world around us. Learn the science lurking beneath the surface of everyday life in this exciting, illuminating program for curious kids of all ages.

Comics Can Take Us Places - For Teens and Adults
 A special program for Teens and Adults. Cartoonist Megan Kelso will illustrate how comics provide a sense of time and place in storytelling. Supported by Humanities WA.
