Friends of the Kettle Falls Public Library

The Friends of the Kettle Falls Public Library offers you an opportunity to join with others in supporting your library. The Friends of the Library are made up of dedicated volunteers who advocate for their local library, sponsor programs and special events for all ages, and purchase special materials for the library. This funding is providing through annual fundraisers, membership contributions, and through book sales through the “Book Nook” store.

The Book Nook sells used, like-new books and audiovisual materials to the public. The Friends of the Library meetings are held on an “as needed” basis, meeting at least one time a year to elect officers and directors. Notifications of these meetings can be found on the Facebook Page.

How can you help? Tasks range from helping the Friends host its annual book sale during Kettle Falls Town and Country Days (first weekend in June) and ongoing volunteer support at the Book Nook to voicing support for the library by spreading the word about the great services and value the library brings to the Kettle Falls community.

If you are interested in becoming a Friend of the Library, please talk to staff at the Kettle Falls Public Library.
