Appointment of For/Against Committee Members

APPOINTMENT OF FOR/AGAINST COMMITTEE MEMBERS
The District is seeking applications from District residents interested in being appointed to committees to write the “for” and “against” statements for the Stevens County Local Voters’ Pamphlet related to the District’s lid lift levy ballot measure to be considered on the April 28, 2026 election. Interested residents should send their name, address, email address, phone number and which position they represent to: Amanda Six, Library Director, Libraries of Stevens County, 3988 Hwy 292, Loon Lake, WA 99148, or via email at [email protected] by 12:00PM on February 27, 2026.The first three residents to submit information for each committee shall be appointed. Statements for the Voters’ Pamphlet are due to the County Auditor’s office by 3:00 pm, Friday, March 6, 2026. All applicants must be registered voters in the Stevens County Rural Library District. Contact information for individuals appointed may be listed in the local voters’ pamphlet.
