Summer Reading Program
Find fun programs, reading challenges, and more at your library!
Stop by your library starting June 1 to sign up for the summer program and get a fun sign-up prize (while supplies last)!
All ages are welcome to join the summer challenge. Log your summer reading & activities on:
- a paper tracker, available at your library
- Go online to thelosc.beanstack.org OR
- download the Beanstack app from your device app store
For every 5 hours of reading, you earn a ticket; up to 4 tickets can be earned for reading (20 hours of reading total). Complete four activities for a bonus ticket. Once you earn a ticket choose which Grand Prize you would like a chance to win!
Prizes include: Kindles, LEGOs, Quad Mega Floaties, Dude Perfect Bounce House, Giant Connect 4, Stand Up Inflatable Paddleboard, Robux & Fortnite V-Bucks, Grocery Store Gift Card.
Count your minutes or write a review to earn a ticket & enter for FUN prizes! Open to all ages.
Virtual Programs & Offline Adventures
- Join a preschool storytime at your library or visit the Storytime Friends group for virtual options
- Pick up a Take N Make or Take N Try kit for kids, teens, and adults to get creative and try something new
- Checkout a themed Bag O Movies for some downtime
- Sing-along with Clifford and learn new songs or stretch like an animal with Anna on our Kids YouTube Channel
- Checkout a Washington Discover Pass from your library and get hiking, fishing, or boating on millions of acres across the state (thanks to the Washington State Library Discover Pass program)
- Checkout a fun game and learn strategy and creative thinking
- Read on a Kindle! Checkout a Bestselling Fiction, a Kids Kindle, Teen Reads, and more. These travel when packing light, too!
